If you are experiencing problems when logging in to myLearningSystem,
follow the instructions below in the listed order:

Ensure
that your username and password are correct, taking into account
that at Trent usernames and passwords are case sensitive. If
you do not know your TrentNet ID or password you can claim them at the
following address: http://www.trentu.ca/claimid.
- Make
sure that when entering your username and password the 'Caps Lock'
key on your keyboard is not active, and if using the number keypad on
the left ensure that the 'Num Lock' indicator is ON.
- If
you do not get a 'invalid username or password' message, but the
screen just clears and gives you the login boxes again, then your
problem is not with your password -- it's with the settings of your
internet browser -- likely the cookies have been turned off or your
Internet Security settings are too high. The 'Browser Tuneup'
link on the left menu of this page describes what the options need to be set to.
- Attention UOIT students!! If you are
a UOIT student registered in a Trent course which uses the learningSystem, you will
have a Trent learningSystem account on the Trent Server... Here's your
login info:
Login ID: Your UOIT mycampus username --
i.e. john.smith (lowercase)
Password: Your UOIT student number
- If you cannot login to the learningSystem using your TrentNet credentials, please use the Report a Problem link on the left menu of this page, or
contact the Information Technology "Technical Support Centre" in the
lower level of BATA (in person preferred) or via the phone at

They will not respond to email requests for password
changes as they cannot verify your identity via that medium. They can
reset your password to something known.
