Click here to meet our 2011 Leadership Staff A NOTE FROM OUR DIRECTOR Welcome to TSSC 2012! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome camp families new and old to what is sure to be another exciting summer at camp. Not just a regular summer for TSSC though, 2012 marks our 20th season. And we have plenty to celebrate! Join us on Saturday May 12, 2012 for a special open house event. In 2011 TSSC moved into our new home, The Athletics Centre at Trent University. Features that are now regularly incorporated into our camp programmes include:
In 2012 we will continue to build the exciting new programs that we introduced in the past two years with minimal changes to our overall camp program.These include a very successful all day Introsport program for our youngest campers as well as Fit Sport, a sport-focussed twin to our Adventuresport program for 13-15 year olds. Our Counsellor-in-Training program for 16-17 year olds will continue to aim to give aspiring counsellors the tools they need to succeed as a camp leader. I will be going on maternity leave from March 2012 to March 2013. TSSC is lucky to have Kate Pearce (Jibb) taking over as Camp Director in my absense. You'll know Kate from her role as Assistant Director at Camp. She is a full time professional staff member at The Athletics Centre and she brings ample experience working in camps and the feild of recreation. This is Kate's second season with TSSC and I know that it will be an amazing summer. All the staff at TSSC are looking forward to seeing you in the summer of 2012!
