Online Appointments

Does your schedule not allow you to make an ASC appointment? You can submit questions about academic or writing skills or submit a draft of your writing at any stage of the process, and an instructor will answer your questions and offer comments. Online appointments complement one-on-one appointments to make our services more available.

Our goal is a 72 hour turn around (excluding weekends)

Please include the due date of the assignment

ASC will only reply to Trent email addresses

 

 

Important Considerations:

  • Manage your time carefully: you will need time to read and apply suggestions before handing the assignment in.
  • Our goal is to help you improve the skills you need to independently edit and proofread your work. 
  • Help early on is often more effective than at the draft stage.
  • Our instructors will answer your questions or offer suggestions on any of the following: structure, organization, argumentation, clear writing (grammar, style, spelling), documentation, referencing, narrowing a topic and thesis statements.
