Working together. Creating new worlds

The Trent Aboriginal Education Council (AEC) was created in 1991. It’s mission is to advance and further improve Aboriginal education at Trent. It reports on an annual basis to Senate and the Board of Governors. The Council consists of members from the Trent University Administration and faculty, local Aboriginal communities and students from the undergraduate and graduate programs. The Council meets at least twice yearly and reports annually to the University Senate and Board of Governors

The Council is co-chaired by Art Beaver and Professor Dan Longboat.
