Sediment Software Update

Version 2.00 - November 2004

This is the first version to be released for the Windows platform. Calculations are identical to the previous version written for the DOS platform with two exceptions.
  • Previously the amount of chemical in each sub-compartment was displayed as a percentage of the total amount in the compartment. Now, the amount is also displayed as a percentage of the total amount of chemical in the system.
  • In the previous version of Sediment, the Z for water was wrongly being displayed for "Total Z in Sediment". This has been corrected.

    The calculations used in Sediment can be viewed, but not changed, by the user. The user interface of Sediment has been updated to be more consistent with current software developed at the CEMC. Included with this update, databases have been added to the software that allow chemical and environment data to be stored to be used in future simulations.
