Fish Software Update

Version 2.00 - November 2004

Since the original version the following changes have been made to the software.

  • Calculations are identical to the previous version written for the DOS platform except the calculation of BCF has been changed to be consistent with the publication by Webster et al (2004). In addition to the fugacity ratios Fish:Water and Fish:Food the bioaccumulation factor, BAF, and the biomagnification factor, BMF, are calculated as defined in the above mentioned publication.

  • The calculations used in Fish can be viewed, but not changed, by the user. The user interface of Fish has been updated to be more consistent with current software developed at the CEMC. Included with this update, databases have been added to the software that allow chemical and environment data to be stored to be used in future simulations.

  • A New Features button has been added to the About … form. This provides access to this list of changes to the software.
